Contract award by Dragon Oil to CMI Offshore Group for the provision of 3 towing/supply vessels and 1 multirole standby vessel commencing mid-2014. First three vessels to be acquired in March 2014 with final vessel due for delivery May 2014. On taking delivery the vessels will be mobilised to Istanbul for docking followed by transit to the Caspian to commence operations.
Aktau
The vessel CM Italia, CM Service, Ocean Tern and new acquisition CM Plover all on Charter with CMOC Pearls project supporting the Drilling Rig Astra. CM Plover was acquired in the second quarter of 2013 and mobilised from the Mediterranean to Kazakhstan.
Astrakhan
Filanovsky Project activity well underway with CM Kurik 2, CM Surveyor, CM Supporter, CM Jet 1 , CM Vickie, CM Wulf all operating on the project and recently joined by barge CM 2007. The CM Vickie which was recently acquired and mobilised to the Caspian Sea has established its reputation in the market place with both local and cross Caspian fast Supply runs to Kazakhstan supporting the Filanovsky field development..
Venezuela
The vessel CM Eagle has recently been to Trinidad to have her Intermediate Class survey completed and is now back in Venezeuela on Charter to PDVSA. CM Annie is now in the shipyard for her Special Survey. Our ASD Tugs Leo and Lily continue to support operations and have both recently had hull cleans carried out whilst in service.

Singapore
Departure of the group’s two newbuilding 65 ton bollard pull ASD escort tugs (Leo and Lily) in transit to Venezuela to commence port operations for PDVSA
Dubai
Acquisition of Shoalbuster Akela tbr CM Kurik. This vessel will be loaded on board a cargo ship for transit to Istanbul where towing pins are to be fitted at the same time as the vessel is repainted in the group’s colours and the Russian flag is raised. The vessel will then transit for commencement of operations on the Filanovsky field in the Russian Sector Caspain Sea. .

Astrakhan
Start-up of our new Astrakhan-based operations through CMI Alpha Offshore LLC, a 100% owned Russian subsidiary of the CMI Offshore Group, and opening of our office to support vessel operations and Russian flag tonnage for the Filanovsky oilfield development.
A poignant month-end as CMI Offshore Group sells one of its vessels for the first time. The CM Cormorant was sold to an existing customer of the company with the sale proceeds earmarked for investment in more modern tonnage.
The Tugs CM Heather and CM Mehran commence charters in Baku for Topaz/BUE project. Both vessels are being upgraded with towing pins and jaws and will support BP construction projects through to 2013. The vessels are raising Azeri flag and will operate with full Azeri crew.
The Tugs CM Annie and CM Eagle complete their transatlantic voyage and after a 2 weeks stopover in Trinidad arrived in Venezuela where they are to go on long term Charter supporting PDVSA’s port and export operations. This is new and exciting expansion for CMI Offshore into new areas and further emphasises the growth ambitions of the Group. The vessels will be operated under Venezuelan flag and with local operations and crewing in keeping with the group philosophy of maximising and respecting local content and expertise.
The vessels CM Italia and Ocean Tern recently completed a Charter operating as PSV’s supporting the Astra Drilling Rig Offshore Kazakhstan for BUE Kazakhstan. These short term Charters were as forerunners for Topaz Legend and Topaz Glory. The project also was supported by the CM Surveyor on Charter to Teniz Service which carried out the ERRV and OSR role until the PSV element completed following which this equipment was transferred to the Ocean Tern which continued on charter to well completion fulfilling the ERRV/OSR Role.
CMI Group reaches a milestone in terms of Lost Time Incidents. We have now achieved a clean record since the company started business of Zero LTI’s 1,000,000 manhours have been worked without any Lost Time.
CMI Group has taken delivery the latest vessel in its fleet – CM Jet 5 which is a large 210 passenger high speed catamaran which has been chartered to Saipem./Ersai for the Kashagan project in Kazakhstan. This vessel was lifted onto the cargo vessel Amythest in Busam Korea for its voyage to the Caspian and is now on route to Kazakhstan where it will enter operations into the High Speed Division joining CM Jet 1 and 2 in carrying offshore workers to and from the offshore development. The vessel will operate out of the port of Atyrau on the Northern Caspian coast on the Ural River.
The latest vessel to join the fleet is the ERRV/MRV/Supply Vessel Ocean Tern which has recently departed Cork in Ireland and it is currently transiting towards the Black Sea where it will proceed to Kazakhstan to join the CM Italia on Charter to KMTF/N-Operating Co supporting the Maersk Explorer Rig. This vessel will be providing a full ERRV provision to the drilling programme as well as providing supply capability as it can carry liquid Mud and Dry Bulk as well as Fuel for the drilling campaign. Whilst the vessel was being prepared for transit the crew took the opportunity to carry out Fast Rescue Craft training.
