CMI’s main business is supporting the offshore oil industry: but our ownership of tugs and a wealth of experience means that we can provide port tug solutions as required.
In particular we operate ASD escort tugs in the busiest ports in Venezuela and can offer high quality newbuilding units on either time-charter or lease-purchase.
Our investment in tugs supporting offshore operations also means that we have a supply of more general tugs which can be devoted to harbour and inshore water towage requirements.
Through our sister company in Nigeria we operate all the tugs at the Ima Field Export Terminal involving 150 ton bollard pull units providing static tows for export tankers and ranging with smaller vessels to shuttle tanker management at FPSO and FSO vessels.
We have decades of expertise in this field and are happy to expand our business to meet any customer requirements.
